He Carried It All For Us

Standing before this sign, reading these words in the quiet of the garden, our hearts felt full. It is the most sacred, tender truth in all the world: Jesus Christ carried the cross for you. For me. For all of us.

Innocent, Yet Willing

Though He was found without fault, though He had done nothing wrong, the crowd cried out. And He did not fight back. He did not complain. He simply took up His cross and walked forward.

He carried it weary, bruised, and bleeding, step by heavy step. And as He walked, people followed and wept. They saw what the world often misses: the innocent One suffering for the guilty; the pure One bearing the stain of us all. He did it because He loves us. He did it because He chose to.

 "Father, Forgive Them"

Even as they nailed Him there, His first thought was not of pain. It was of mercy. "Father, forgive them," He said. He asked forgiveness for the very ones who hurt Him. That is the love that holds the universd. Perfect, unshakable, limitless love. He did not die defeated. He died victorious, fulfilling the Father’s plan, opening the way home for every one of us.

He Carried It So We Don't Have To

The sign says something so beautiful and comforting:

"As we put our trust in Jesus Christ, He will ease our burdens and strengthen us."

He carried the cross so that we never have to carry our sins alone. Whatever weighs on you, guilt, fear, grief, uncertainty, you can place it at His feet. He understands. He has walked the hard road. And He will carry you.

- He eases the burden. You don't have to be strong enough on your own
- He gives strength. His grace is made perfect in your weakness
- He makes a way where there seemed to be no way, He opened the gate.

This Is Why We Have Hope

Because He walked that road, we can walk ours. Because He endured the cross, we can endure with hope. Because He rose again, death is not the end. It is only the beginning. And because He lives, we too can live, and return, and be whole.

"Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows." — Isaiah 53:4

He carried the cross. He carried our sins. He carried our grief. And now, He carries us. Always.
