Our dad loves cooking! In fact, he cooks better than our mom. He says this is his small way of showing his love to his wife and to his children. We are so lucky to have such a handsome chef in the family!

Having recently moved to a new neighborhood and community closer to the Urdaneta Temple, we started the week on a positive note with a morning devotional. As a family, we studied Elder Gary E. Stevenson's conference talk years ago, entitled " Sacred Homes, Sacred Temples ." In his address, he emphasizes the importance of creating sacred spaces within our homes and the significance of temples in our lives. Preparing our Children for their First Temple Experience

It's a special milestone for our family that our youngest daughter, Czerinah Ellah is turning 12 this year and becomes eligible to participate in temple ordinances with her limited-use temple recommend and participate in certain sacred ordinances within the temple. Having her able to participate alongside the rest of our family is a joyous occasion. We are thrilled for this opportunity to support one another in these sacred experiences. We are glad that she will no longer need to wait for us to finish our temple sessions and can now make important covenants and receive blessings that can strengthen her faith and deepen her relationship with our Heavenly Father.    As Czerinah Ellah prepares for this significant step, we believe it's important to help her understand the sacredness and significance of the temple ordinances. Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf's talk "A Higher Joy" resonated deeply with me during our recent Relief Society lesson at Riverbend Ward, Bow River Stake. The talk's message about actively seeking joy, even amidst challenges, was already powerful. But our teacher, Pam Merrell, took the lesson to a whole new level with a simple but profound activity.   She asked us to write down the name of the first person who came to mind. Then, she asked us to write down the words we wanted to tell that person, reminding us to listen to the promptings of the Holy Ghost as we wrote.
