Working as volunteers during the Urdaneta Philippines Temple Open House helped build our family's anticipation and reverence for the upcoming temple dedication.   Temple dedications are significant events that require thorough preparation, taking into account spiritual and practical aspects. Here's how our family is getting ready for this important occasion:   Getting Closer to God We pray together as a family to ask for help, peace, and togetherness as we prepare for the temple dedication. We also read and learn from the scriptures regularly to have an added measure of the Spirit in our home and understand the blessings of the temple better.   Getting Ready to Go At the beginning of the year, we ensured that all family members who are eligible to have a temple recommend have gone through the necessary interviews and preparations. Wherever we are, our daughter, Cerah Hennah teaches us that standing taller is not just about physical stature.
