As a Sunday School teacher, I have always sought inspiration from leaders within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Having served in various wards teaching adult classes,, including Tarlac 3rd Ward (Tarlac Philippines Stake), University Ward (Baguio Philippines Stake), and Riverbend Ward (Calgary Alberta Bow River Stake), I've always sought inspiration and guidance from church leaders. One name that consistently resonated with me, and with countless others worldwide, is Tad R. Callister. I always looked forward to watching the Sunday School training sessions for teachers during his time. His service as the General President of the Sunday School (2014-2019) left an indelible mark, and his teachings continue to influence my approach to gospel learning and teaching. With a heavy heart, we mourn his passing yesterday at the age of 79, but we also celebrate a life dedicated to service and unwavering faith.

Tad R. Callister's service as the General President of the Sunday School was a blessing to the entire Church. His teachings have had a profound impact on my life and my teaching. As I continue to serve as a Sunday School teacher for youth this time in Silverado Ward (Calgary Alberta Fish Creek Stake), I will forever cherish his inspiring example and strive to integrate his principles into my life and lessons. He reminds us that the gospel is not just a set of doctrines, but a way of life, a path that leads us closer to Jesus Christ and to eternal happiness. Today, we express our gratitude for his life, his teachings, and his unwavering commitment to the Savior. Though he is gone from our mortal sight, his influence will continue to inspire generations to come. May we all strive to follow his example of faith, service, and love. 💖

While visiting the Marikina Shoe Museum, we stumbled upon something that stopped and amazed us – a massive old tree that had clearly fallen during a strong storm. But instead of decay and death, what we saw was a powerful testament to life's ability to adapt and thrive against all odds. It's a special milestone for our family that our youngest daughter, Czerinah Ellah is turning 12 this year and becomes eligible to participate in temple ordinances with her limited-use temple recommend and participate in certain sacred ordinances within the temple. Having her able to participate alongside the rest of our family is a joyous occasion. We are thrilled for this opportunity to support one another in these sacred experiences. We are glad that she will no longer need to wait for us to finish our temple sessions and can now make important covenants and receive blessings that can strengthen her faith and deepen her relationship with our Heavenly Father. Families are essential in Heavenly Father’s plan of happiness. We are part of a heavenly family and an earthly one. President Gordon B. Hinckley taught: “God is the designer of the family. He intended that the greatest of happiness, the most satisfying aspects of life, the deepest joys should come in our associations together and our concerns one for another as fathers and mothers and children” Temple and family history work unites families. Husbands and wives, parents and children can be sealed through sacred temple ordinances. The goal of this process is that “the whole chain of God’s family shall be welded together into one chain, and they shall all become the family of God and His Christ” (Joseph F. So just recently, we made dad's morning routine. This is his other routine early morning before going to the market or sometimes in the afternoon after doing other more urgent tasks. Our dad is a farm boy. He grew up in the farm. One of his dreams is to be an agriculturist. We think our dad is really the best at everything he does! We love you dad!

Part of our Family Home Evening last 25 February 2020 was watching the Face to Face event for children, youth, parents, and leaders, where President and Sister Oaks answered questions from around the world focusing on the Children and Youth program which is to strengthen the rising generation’s faith in Jesus Christ, and help children, youth, and their families progress along the covenant path as they meet life’s challenges. Our children then made a resolution to follow the process more intentionally: discover, plan, act, and reflect. They have also set personal goals that challenge and stretch them and continue to discover new talents, interests, and skills. This morning, when my husband and I woke up, we were surprised to see the house already sparkling clean. They worked together to do the house chores after their personal prayer and scripture study.
