So, guys, guess what? I receive this monthly on my email but I just can't help everytime but be amazed by the awesome power of Google! Seriously, it's like this total game-changer when it comes to looking up and digging into all this cool stuff about my timeline and travels.

Okay, let's get real. Anyone can have kids, right? But being a dad? That's a whole different ballgame. As a mom, I've seen firsthand what it takes to be a great father, and let me tell you, it's so much more than just biology. It's Not Just About the Genes   Making a baby is just the starting point. Being a father starts when you step up and take responsibility.  It's about:   - Being Present : Like, really present. Not just physically, but emotionally too. Putting down the phone, turning off the game, and actually engaging with your kids. It's about being there for the good, the bad, and the messy. - Keeping Them Safe : Making sure they're okay, both in their bodies and in their heads. We are looking forward to starting and completing our chosen course this fall semester. Child Development course is a theoretical, academically oriented course focusing on the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of the child from conception through adolescence. As parents ourselves and assisting and giving support to other children, we are excited to learn and  explore the influences of family, peers, and social institutions on the child's development.  We know that connecting the dots between what we learn and what we do takes creativity and even stepping outside our comfort zone.Our most favorite part is searching for daily opportunities at home and at work to apply what we learn.

Children and Youth Program Initiative

Part of our Family Home Evening last 25 February 2020 was watching the Face to Face event for children, youth, parents, and leaders, where President and Sister Oaks answered questions from around the world focusing on the Children and Youth program which is to strengthen the rising generation’s faith in Jesus Christ, and help children, youth, and their families progress along the covenant path as they meet life’s challenges. Our children then made a resolution to follow the process more intentionally: discover, plan, act, and reflect. They have also set personal goals that challenge and stretch them and continue to discover new talents, interests, and skills. This morning, when my husband and I woke up, we were surprised to see the house already sparkling clean. They worked together to do the house chores after their personal prayer and scripture study. Sacred Dwellings | The Sanctity of our Homes and the Role of Temples

Having recently moved to a new neighborhood and community closer to the Urdaneta Temple, we started the week on a positive note with a morning devotional. As a family, we studied Elder Gary E. Stevenson's conference talk years ago, entitled " Sacred Homes, Sacred Temples ." In his address, he emphasizes the importance of creating sacred spaces within our homes and the significance of temples in our lives. From his message, we can derive valuable lessons on the sanctity of our homes and the role of temples in our spiritual journey. Embracing Simplicity

Wherever we are, our daughter, Cerah Hennah teaches us that standing taller is not just about physical stature. It's about the courage to face our fears, the resilience to overcome our challenges, and the determination to keep moving forward. It's about standing up for what we believe in, standing up for those who can't stand up for themselves, and standing up for the values that define us. Just recently, we were impressed how Cerah approached her 18th birthday with a different perspective. Instead of demanding a grand party or gifts, our daughter expressed her desire to spend quality time with us and embrace the significance of this milestone in her life. It was a witness to her maturity and understanding of the transition to adulthood. Her decision to forgo a big celebration and focus on creating meaningful memories resonated deeply with us.
