As parents, we can help our children, whatever their age, learn from the general conference. This is a great opportunity to teach them about recognizing the Spirit and about responding to things they learned and felt and have their own spiritual experiences.

Even after the live or rebroadcast, we can do much to enhance our children's experience with the doctrine and principles taught at general conference by talking about the impressions we all wrote during the sessions and what we all learned. It's not always easy especially when our children were younger but we praise them for their reverence and their attentiveness.

These photos were taken on 9th April 2017 at Baguio Stake Center (Legarda Chapel). One of our family traditions in between sessions was to find a shady spot around the church ground, spread out our picnic mat and enjoy together the packed meals and treats.

Recently, we watch conferences live at home or aired in our local tv station but the #conferencetraditions and memories we had will be forever treasured ❣️

Families are essential in Heavenly Father’s plan of happiness. We are part of a heavenly family and an earthly one. President Gordon B. Hinckley taught: “God is the designer of the family. He intended that the greatest of happiness, the most satisfying aspects of life, the deepest joys should come in our associations together and our concerns one for another as fathers and mothers and children” Temple and family history work unites families. Husbands and wives, parents and children can be sealed through sacred temple ordinances. The goal of this process is that “the whole chain of God’s family shall be welded together into one chain, and they shall all become the family of God and His Christ” (Joseph F. As parents, it is just right to worry and calculate the finances required to run a family. But this often leads to realization that the cost of raising a child, education, bills, etc. is substantial. Not to mention the need for planning our retirement. So, the money we may be getting may not seem sufficient, especially recently that the inflation is so high and we can't help but chase after it. For Latter-day Saints , the concept of eternal families is central to our beliefs. We strive to create homes filled with love, respect, and growth. This vision has been powerfully shaped by the teachings of prophets like President Russell M. Nelson , whose recent passing has brought a wave of reflection and gratitude. In a talk given in 1968, then-Elder Russell M. Nelson shared timeless wisdom on how to cultivate a strong and loving marriage. These words, which have profoundly impacted our family and countless others, remain incredibly relevant today. We are looking forward to starting and completing our chosen course this fall semester. Child Development course is a theoretical, academically oriented course focusing on the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of the child from conception through adolescence. As parents ourselves and assisting and giving support to other children, we are excited to learn and explore the influences of family, peers, and social institutions on the child's development. We know that connecting the dots between what we learn and what we do takes creativity and even stepping outside our comfort zone.Our most favorite part is searching for daily opportunities at home and at work to apply what we learn.

Can you imagine if you had the chance to share your final thoughts with your loved ones before leaving this mortal existence? Well, that's exactly what the prophet Lehi did when he sensed that his life was coming to an end. He gathered his family for one last heart-to-heart. In our early morning Seminary class, we learned about Lehi and his final moments with his loved ones. It's truly touching how he gathered his family together to share the incredible messages that Heavenly Father had revealed to him. It must have been a deeply meaningful and heartfelt experience for everyone involved. It's amazing that Lehi not only shared his personal testimony of the Messiah but also delved into important topics like liberty, obedience, the Fall of Adam and Eve, and the redemption through Jesus Christ. So just recently, we made dad's morning routine. This is his other routine early morning before going to the market or sometimes in the afternoon after doing other more urgent tasks. Our dad is a farm boy. He grew up in the farm. One of his dreams is to be an agriculturist. We think our dad is really the best at everything he does! We love you dad!

It wasn't long before businesses were hiring more and more people with English skills, and over the next few years it's set to become a mandatory qualification. The English language has become so important in China because the country wants to successfully promote internationalism and keep the lines of communication open for trade and business matters. We have been in the ESL industry for 15 years and we have seen how Chinese, Koreans, Japanese, Vietnamese and other nationalities invest a lot of their resources to feel confident and relaxed when they speak English.
