Companionship Study


President Russel M. Nelson taught that Adam and Eve were joined together in marriage for time and for all eternity by the power of the everlasting priesthood. 

I am grateful for the daily companionship study with Anatolin, whom I knelt at the altar in the house of the Lord 16 years ago. Learning and studying together, facing challenges together and overcoming them as one, growing in love and understanding, and through temple ordinances, bound together as one whole, eternally.

Truly, seeking a marriage and family that will last throughout eternity is one of the greatest pursuits of mortality.

Having recently moved to a new neighborhood and community closer to the Urdaneta Temple, we started the week on a positive note with a morning devotional. As a family, we studied Elder Gary E. Preparing our Children for their First Temple Experience

It's a special milestone for our family that our youngest daughter, Czerinah Ellah is turning 12 this year and becomes eligible to participate in temple ordinances with her limited-use temple recommend and participate in certain sacred ordinances within the temple. Having her able to participate alongside the rest of our family is a joyous occasion. We are thrilled for this opportunity to support one another in these sacred experiences. A Higher Joy

Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf's talk "A Higher Joy" resonated deeply with me during our recent Relief Society lesson at Riverbend Ward, Bow River Stake. The talk's message about actively seeking joy, even amidst challenges, was already powerful. But our teacher, Pam Merrell, took the lesson to a whole new level with a simple but profound activity.   She asked us to write down the name of the first person who came to mind. Then, she asked us to write down the words we wanted to tell that person, reminding us to listen to the promptings of the Holy Ghost as we wrote. As I sat there, the thought of reaching out to someone, expressing my feelings, filled me with excitement. As I began to write, a sense of peace settled over me.
